Hello! I worked today on bottom side of huge board at work with Eagle and felt that there should be feature. I relieves my pain to think how much better many things can be with pcb-rnd. My task was to add each of the 816 nets which was routed on bottom side a test point. The signals are running all over the board. Now my idea: It would be nice to constraint the ratsnest to some layer so that it connects two shortest point together on that layer. This would break without some good thinking in a case where the unconnected part is on top side and the constraint is on bottom. Log should mention something like Not showing 234 ratsnests... My use workflow for this use case on pcb-rnd world: - Edit schematics to have the new test points. - Import schematics - Put new footprints to bottom side - Place the footprints near actual using area - Constraint ratsnests to bottom - Move and route the test points. Another use case: When doing single mask edit this will also help to stay on right layer. Vuokko
